Viva La Bam is actually a lot funnier, but they mostly just destroy stuff. And so is Trigger Happy TV, which they show people streaking naked through grocery stores and stuff. So yeah, American television isn't nearly as sheltered as you might think.

Hell they would if it gave good ratings, it just has to be censored. TV would let it fly. And I mean cmon, Stevo from Jackass staples his testicle to his thigh and put his hand up a cow's ass. In fear factor they were told to eat water buffalo penises. In tons of music channels they have slutty women shaking their asses at the camera. And it's not like animated television shows such as South Park and Family Guy don't count either. You also only see the "funny" and "crazy" bits from japanese television on the internet, too, so it makes it look as if that's all there is on TV there.

If you think American or European television can compare. Think again. I doubt you've actually been in Japan and watched what airs there. I love Viva la bam and Jackass, but they just cant compare to some of the japanese comedy stuff. It's simply million times better in every single way! :D
