Not a huge number of people make icons, as far as I know. I may one day but that'll be long after I finish my tilesets and charasets, and everyone knows how #$%^'ing long that's taking :'P.

As a few notes however on what you have there, I particularly like the flail, striborg, and solid steam. They display the best detail in both palette and shape.

The others seem like they can't find a style. Some of them have black outlines and others are very saturated. If the black outlines were lightened and hued to an appropriate color, and if the super-saturated ones were toned down, you'd be on your way to a nice set that matches.

A good way to get people psyched about making art like this is to come up with some sort of template, rubric, or method of pixelling, to both enable pixel-challenged folks and pique the interests of people who have their own methods down pat already.

I made a couple a while back, had 'em on the tyke thread but this seems like a better place for them.

I like the flail btw, nice work.

The purple bottle was the worst icon i made :D

Cool Idea man! I have just remade loads of icons from a basic iron dagger, there's Ice, Fire, Water, and Dark. I've also got Iron, Bronze, Gold and the ultimate dagger called Crisis Dagger.
(Which is blood red)

I made these for a main character cos' I could nae find any good dagger icons, I may put them on here 2mrrw or somming...

Way to use someone else's topic as your own, I don't like the icons you posted...at all, the shading is like off, it says golden dagger, I thought it was wood...
