So the guy who plays Luther (Idris Elba) is going to be the first black James Bond. What's everyone's thoughts on this? (And of the loss of Daniel Craig?)
Personally I think they're making a mountain out of a molehill. Being black shouldn't even be notable, it's just a thing, he just happens to be black. Certainly not something that would change the character in any way. An actor's an actor: consider Peter Falk: he had a glass eye, but was adamant it was "playing" a real eye. He's an actor, Columbo has two eyes, Peter Falk only had one, but he's acting.
Anyway, the media's going to have a shitstorm over this one.
