The Drone Production Plant. [My workshop]

As before, please note that I DO NOT give people permission to use these or any modification of these.

For the work I have compiled from rips. As soon as I have finished this post, I will update with the names of the games they are from and the people / sites I found them from.

This is the culmination so far of the works I've been producing for a game that I hadn't planned to even mention on the site seeing as I have a bad track record for releasing a game thread then just suddenly dropping it because my ideas became overly complicated.

On a return to RMXP I decided a small project just made for the purpose of pushing what I can do to it's limits and learning where I need to pick up something new. Botix was formed.

Im not here to release a thread... I'll wait untill I'm 80% towards a demo before I do. Instead some feedback was required on one ship I was designing and badmonur asked to see my other work and offered his help... so here it is:

Part one, I threw it all on to one sheet and annotated where I can.

Part two, I'm creating an intro which is a fake futuristic desktop... I really need some C&C on these.

part three, this is a tileset that I have put together and edited from rips. (Now you can see why my bots were so simply shaded but since the update I will probably not use this even though I will continue to add to it).

That tileset makes me want to choke a small Indonesian child. Dont use it or ill kill you.
Your UI looks pretty decent but its a bit too bright and a bit on the bulky side.

I really like the HuD graphics.
Is there a thread about your game?
Would like to see the graphics in action!

@badmonur: You'll see why I said it matched the bright, simple graphics I had designed now... but now I can't use it because of the graphical update on the craft and the box... I need something a little more detailed so back to the drawing board on that.

@Tempus: Mario and Luigi? Damn it thank you! As i stated, I was trying to find what game they were from. Its a mix of that plus Pokemon battle dungeon which was hell to rip out tiles and edit them to a practical use. Now i know the names of the game I'll update the first post with the game names and the rippers if I can find them lol.

The hud is a work in progress. I agree its bulky but then again I hadn't planned on using it during play. The game starts using a mock computer start up. The interface bar loads, then the F-keys apear one by one before the background fades in behind and then the icons apear on the F-key podiums.

The phone then rings to alert you that you have recieved a message and gives the ability to read or ignor the message. (all accompanied with with a computerised voice walking you through).

I am considdering trying to smooth out the interface but i still like the idea of the icons sitting on podeums. I might do something similar but simpler for an in game interface.

Current work: The humanoid robot.

It all looks pretty good. I don't like the tileset, but it isn't horrible.

I'll restate what Devon Jacobs said:
Ignor isn't a word man. It's Ignore

Yeah sorry, it was late, But that desktop looks real awesome though. And so do many of the sprites. Litle concerned with shading on the container.

Bare in mind that the bright orange was the original coloring... its been toned down in the top image along with the ship with much help from badmonour. Thanks for the heads up on the spelling mistake, I'll correct it in the next revision.
