I took a look at a game I saw on IGN and read on what they had to say about this game (anyone know how to put a hyperlink into the name?), The Conduit. I do have to agree with them about 3rd party developers being lazy and making pathetic and horrible games for the Wii/DS...

So this developer, High Voltage Software (a 3rd party developer, obviously...) decides to make a game for a Wii...and this could probably be the best 3rd party game for the Wii yet. I don't know much about the game yet, but The Conduit is a FPS set in the present time (I'm guessing its like Half-Life, lol). They say the control scheme was inspired by Heroes 2 and MP3: Corruption, and you will be able to change settings like you can in Corruption. So it looks like they took care of the gameplay part of the game, and judging by the screenshots I've seen (I'm on dial-up, and I'm attempting to load up the video)...the graphics look awesome.
EDIT: .......Weird, it wouldn't let me type anymore...>_>
....ANYways High Voltage is using a game engine (correct me if I get the name wrong) called Quantum3. The engine REALLY pushes the Wii's capabilities to the point where it doesn't look like a Wii game at all, lol. They hope to make this game look like a 360 game and I'm going to have to try this game out. I hope 3rd parties will stop making crappy games and start making games like this one.
My browser is acting weird, so I'll post the link that takes you to a gameplay video in a minute.
