Hey, I had a great idea for a very light, slighly comedic RP. It's called:
PAPERMAN: The Artist Wars
Plot: A young teen (bout 18) has an overactive imagination, and can't pay attention in class. He is sent to a Saturday detention for disobediance, but when he shows up no one is there, not even the teacher. He starts to draw, like he always does, and suddenly, the page starts to fill up with drawings on it's own. It bleeds out onto the desk, and over the floor and walls until he is surrounded by drawings, and his classroom is nowhere to be seen.
The world inside the artwork is a dangerous one, and ruled by the tyrannical "Artist" who enjoys drawing terrible monsters to destroy the people of his cruel world. You must join up with a secret rebellion of drawings to overthrow the Artist, so that the world of art can rest easily.
Characters:
Jason Barnwell: A spirited young man with a huge imagination and pretty good skills with a pencil. He finds the regular life of highschool quite boring and mundane, and likes to draw to escape from the drone of his teachers. Boy, he escapes alright.
Carson: The leader of the rebellion, he is fast, and strong. He was the first to learn that the drawings, once brought to life by the Artist, could create and change themselves to a degree based on the drawings skills. It is he who takes Jason in and leads him to join the rebellion.
Norseman A strong drawing, with tremendous magical power. He started as a God, drawn by the Creator, the original artist. He gave up his godhood, much like Raiden, because he was linked to the Artist in that state. He now fights against his former master, with his still formidable, but far less potent, magical prowess.
More to come....
Story Details:
The drawing rebellion is based upon the fact that the Artist is growing old, and his hands cannot draw anymore. He is training a young protege, so as to maintain a certain level of dominance. The drawings need to strike while the protege is still young and unskilled. The poorer a drawing is, the weaker it is when it is brought to life through the Creator's Imagination. If the drawings can somehow kill the protege before he comes into his own, then peace will be restored to the Art world.
Features:
Dynamic battlers: As the game progresses, the quality of the monster art goes up, and gains detail, colors, shading to show the advancing skill of the protege.
Drawing system: The player will find sketches, which he can draw into complete drawings to use as equipment. The battler will reflect these changes in equipment, ie: if you equip a robe, your battler will not have on armor, but a robe and the other way around.

This is your starting battler, right after you get sucked in.

Keep in mind, these are from the beginning, and are Supposed to look a little fuzzy, like a kid drawing them.
