So this seems silly, but I'm a nut for deserts. Love to make 'em love to eat 'em. So today for my mother's birthday i whipped her up an apple galette. I was so proud of it i photographed it  :blush:

Spoiler: I'd let you taste it too but that would be difficult.

The brown drippy stuff is a rum-caramel sauce.

This is true. Sometimes I get baked and just cook, I get so creative with the food and it always tastes awesome.

Ladies and gentlemen of the culinary institute, for my final presentation, i bring you Poptart coco vaux with peanut butter and popcorn pure, garnished with a Hershey's syrup and jelly glaze.

This is extremely true. It's why I have a hard time with baking; I love to add sprinkles and dashes

One of these days, I'll have a desert-off with you, swear it. n'fact, just t'other week I spent several hours mesing with chocolate to create the cake of all cakes. 'Twas awesome.

i think you were referring to the small amts of food they give at 4-star restaurants? (but given the opportunity i LOVE getting 4-star food, it may be small in quantity but it's usually AMAZING in detail and flavor)
