it is a new software that is designed to teach programing through 3d game and animation development.

looks kinda interesting, not sure how useful it would be for practical application and production, but still an interesting concept

This looks interesting. I'm downloading it right now for a test run. Normally I wouldn't, but the shots of people using the software in that first video were enough for me to lose any suspicions. Cool find.

EDIT:

Okay, so I have watched the second video, and it looks like the most ingenious way to teach code ever! If my personal test run goes well, I do believe I'll be using this to teach the Computer Science Club students next year!

glad i could help, i found out about it cuz i was watching Randy Pauch's last lecture, he is one of the professors featured in those vids, he was a professor of virtual reality, unfortunatl he was diagnosed with cancer and used the "headfake" theory (teaching something useful but telling the student they are learning something fun) as his legacy, it has grown into the Alice project and has come to used characters from the sims

After toying around with it, I was mostly still excited. A few things could have been better, but nothing was bad enough to make me change my mind. I can only hope it will be enough to generate interest among the students at my school.
