Tetris VX

Hello everybody. I was thinking of a project to do in VX, then i remembered Space invaders. However, that seemed too hard to in VX so I decided to make Tetris. Ill put up some screenshots  but my problem is mostly with movement and getting rid of lines.

I can't script complicated things although, I am planning to script the HUD display that shows the score and the rows you've cleared.
 
What do you mean by ideas for improvement? Are there any glitches you're finding, functions you can't seem to event? Or do you want C&C (in which this would be more suited for Project Discussion)?
 
I am having problems with the movement of the blocks. Each block takes up one space on the grid however the white shape formed by the blocks isnt a whole. so I can't make it move in any direction together and once it reaches the bottom they will not keep thier shape like in tetris.

also rotating is a problem I cant rotate the shapes.
