I like the font, but otherwise it's just very difficult to read. There's not enough contrast - the blue is far too bright, and it seems to be only four colors - black, white, grey, and turquoise.  Make the blue a bit darker and maybe fade it out.  Also, if you're already preparing for people to not be able to make it out, it's probably not the best you could do.

The embossed effect is far to ugly and tacky looking. I like what you tried, and the text isn't half bad, but the capital letters just become an object to themselves and don't group well enough with the other letters, creating an awkard read. The stroke around the image is too distracting too, and doesn't work well due to lack of contrast.

Go look at some diverse logo's that aren't too plain, look up some photoshop tips and try again.

awww man.....i was rather proud of my capital letters.......aight lemme see what i can change.......

oh yeah.....i dunno if i mentioned this in the beginning....but its kinda like my game name......it will be made smaller, and put in front of a background(probably an old parchment looking thing).....its not a company logo or nething.......

It's a good outline, experiment with layer styles (I presume you're using Photoshop)
If you are using Photoshop: Don't overuse strokes, use drop shadow and outer glow instead.
Color overlay and Gradient Overlays are extremely important, and use the Burn and Dodge Tool to emphasize.

Also, add depth with the blur tool.

ugh...the Shape (Font) is superb.

but you should add texture and some more effects to it.
then It'll be better! ^^

aight....1 sec.....i wanna know what u guys think about the capital letters.....

edit:

aight.....here's basically the same thing as above with a black background....only thing i did was tone down the outer glow thing.......i'll make sum major changes once i play around with Photoshop and learn sumthing.........

Ok, now with the contrast it creates an easier read no doubt about that.

However the design itself, has been done to death. It's no exactly bad, but it's boring. So many people when they come to designing their first game logo think "Ok, cool swirly scroll text with bits coming out everywhere"

I advise you to get out of this mindset now. You've also just created a nice simple swirly background. Good start, but its still too generic. There are far to many people that jump straight into photoshop and play around with the basics and think its all wonderful. Stop now, and go read up on the program. You'll be doing yourself a massive favour. I used to, and unfortunately at times still do wing it when it came to stuff like this. I look back on most of my old TS's and GO's and they look pretty similar to this, and I regret it. If your just starting out it's best to go learn your shit. It'll help you now and it'll help you later.
