Symphony of Dreams Character Sprites

old stuffs..
im a newbie spriter and i need comments from you guys if im doing good or not so that i can improve with my spritings :)
so C&C are welcome!

Heya guys! ive finished the Custom menu for my game so im getting back at spriting now, as for everyones-sake-of-knowing.. im not really good at spriting so i need help to flourish my ability to sprite, to perfect these cute guys.

so constructive criticisms are welcome!


heres my new and improved sprites (the template i used is tyke2 from Invisibledrifter) i dont know if i should continue to use the child kaiser template...

Note:
these sprites are for constructive criticisms only. im sorry but you cant use them.
 
Pillow shading is when you just darken the outline of the sprite and go lighter into the center. It makes the sprite really flat.
 
wow a post from Kaiser himself! (hello idol nyehehe)

i did get the point. i think my shading and pointy hairs needs improving. ill post my new sprite later :P
 
Nice tyke2's. The hair of the first one looks wierd. The second one's hair is alright, but instead of copying the RTP of it, remake it.
 
something really simple to do that will help all of those is make sure that all the frames are lined up on the right axises. As they are right now they animate wonky because they knock back and forth by a pixel each frame. Also the guy w/ cloud's hair (yes its cloud's hair don't deny it) doesn't bounce at all on his back walk, he just kinda hangs there and it looks painfully unnatural. Just shift him down a pixel on the middle frame (I'm pretty sure thats the fix, I'm not a spriting wizard)
