Hey there.
I'd like some critique on a character I'm making for a small project I'm doing.
Below is a still image of the front facing sprite, an animation of the sprite walking, and the character artwork that the face graphic will come from.

Walking Animation 1.0:

Walking Animation 2.0 (Non-Shuffle Version):

All comments good or bad are welcome.
Every bit helps.

I would darken the hair where it meets the skull and brighten the highlights. Also narrow the eyes by removing the bottom row of pixels. I love the design sketch.

@Nphyx: I tried it but it really doesn't make too much of a noticeable difference.
And, I'm glad you like the sketch. I wasn't too sure about it as art really isn't my thing. (I like to pretend it is though, lol)

Crap double post.
Sorry.

Anyways, I noticed the shuffling but I haven't been able to fix it.
Any suggestions?

Edit:
I think it's the RTP template I've been using.
For some reason, all the characters I've been making with it shuffle.
I'm gonna make this guy with another RTP template and see if I'm right.

To make it look like he's not shuffling, shade in where the back leg is supposed to bend with your darker color more (it's farther away, so it should be darker). Right now, you're just rearranging what you already have shaded in the base frame with the animation frames. So the highlight at the bottom of the pants shouldn't be there.

@Ellescene: Yeah, I realized that after I did the second version.
I like the second version better so I'll probably just keep using that one as it's easier to work with.

Thanks for the comment.
