Steve Jobs R.I.P.

Eventing_Guy

Awesome Bro

I have never Bought anything from Apple... Anything.

Though, it's always sad to hear the death of someone.

but as the saying goes "life goes on".

R.I.P Steve Jobs... He is probably in the "iclouds" by now... LOL

I can't say I've ever said too many nice things about Apple products, nor have I ever been terribly excited about seeing Steve Jobs drumming up excitement for the inevitable new iWhatever. But he wasn't a bad guy or deserving of death or anything, so this is lamentable, and r.i.p..

THE CANCER CAME AND IT TOOK OUR JOBS!

But seriously, Steve Jobs may be dead, but we still have Boob Jobs, Hand Jobs, Blow Jobs and Rim Jobs...

Nah really, I think it's kinda sucky really, I mean, I didn't care much for him since I'm not an Apple supporter (I don't have anything Apple actually, except an iPod but meh I don't even know where it is anymore), but either way it's still a guy that was beloved by millions and he's gone at such an early age... although we already knew he was going someday, I never thought it was that soon, and it's weird too since I was talking to my mates about him yesterday, literally 4 hours before I found out he'd died, about how he's this super rich guy, yet dresses like such a commoner and it was pretty funny to me, but then I heard this and was like aww shit, lol.

Rest in Peace, one day iHope that iSee you in heaven!

I see your friends have been posting Steve Jobs jokes on Facebook too Jbrist :P

I don't really care much, but it's always sad when someone dies and its affected a few people I know worse than the death of anyone else they haven't met. So rest in peace.

Indeed they have lol, and as cruel as it is (Same as the Michael Jackson ones, but they were TONS worse), they're pretty funny

Ive never really been a super apple supporter but its sad mainly because he revolutionized so many areas of the media such as the music industry and the laptop industry (made things slimmer and smaller therefore competitors such as windows had to meet a status quo), the phone industry, and even the tablet industry. I mean you gotta give the guy some credit even though you dont like his products (I dont like apples products either that much but I do have an ipod [this is the furthest i would go with apple]~)

anyways, its sad to see someone go like that.

yeah as much as i don't appreciate people who are avid iWhores -- shelling out ridiculous gobs of cash for products based solely on visual appeal, brand whoring, and the buyer's disinterest in building things for themselves -- you have to appreciate the mastermind behind finding and exploiting the holy living hoozits out of that demographic.

he took a company that was severely tanking in the 90's and made it a really major competitor on a global scale, and that is something remarkable, atleast.
and to think, a good amount of it just added up to: "what if we made computers ... in PRETTY COLORS?!?!"

(why couldn't this have happened to Justin Long instead??)

ugh the guy's almost as bad as Shia LeBouf

at least he made windows get up off of their asses and start innovating some more. I mean, without apple, Microsoft probably wouldn't be where they are today~

but yeah, Iwhores are the worst people ever. Tbh, most people just buy apple computers just to say they have apple computers.

ugh the guy's almost as bad as Shia LeBouf
lol at Shia LeBouf. What happened to the kid who just played in Even Stevens~

i will forever remember steve jobs as the guy who helped start pixar. ;-;
this

also regardless of anyone's distaste for Apple he was still a great visionary who helped changed the world, and that deserves praise.

jbrist cracked me up lol.

Steve's one of the guys who made the "first" modern desktop P.C, if it wasn't for his innovative thinking computers today might have been very different and boring.

R.I.P

I'm not an Apple whore. I don't even own an Apple product, although I'm seriously thinking about buying an iPhone. Those things are just so damn handy. Anyhow, I do love Pixar Studios. Everything they make is cheesy and awesome.

He was a revolutionary in PC development, however so were many people who don't get mentioned any close as often as he did, probably much like Gates. As a programmer and developer, I don't really think the course he took (again, probably not only he alone, but still) as far as access to devices and media goes was quite a good move. Coming from there, as much as he did for the forecoming of user interface optimization and whatnot somewhen back in the days, trying to block the very same advancement by putting up a series of lifestyle products really seems like a betrayal of his own motives.

Didn't know him personally, so no sympathies there either.

Well, it has aleardy been said, but, I remember him as a help to starting Pixar, someone who helped get PC's off the ground, and, revolutionizing the Media and Music technologies of the time. Now, my father works for Microsoft, so, we don't have any Apple producs, but, that's fine. Microsoft has made something comparable to everything in the iCrap series, they're just less known. Steve was a very interesting person if you ever got to meet him. Very down to earth, decent sense of humour, and, a visionary in many ways. He will be missed, however, I'm sure he has a digitized copy of his conscience backed up on the iCloud servers :)
