Stealing items?

Just make a common event that is called upon attacking (stealing).  The common event should have a random variable at the beginning (to choose a random item).  If you would like to make certain items for certain enemies, just add a conditional branch for each enemy.
 
Yeah, but how do you set it up so you can only steal an individual enemy's item once?

I don't want players to rob the same monster over and over and over and over ad nauseum.

Also, how do you " add a conditional branch for each enemy"?

I'd also like to be able to steal from each member from a troop. Like, if the player's fighting three Slimes, he can rob each Slime once.
