[spoilers] LOLst is back.

So we're back from hiatus. I figure I might as well make a new thread for the second half of the season.

Awesome, I'm glad we had another episode revolving around Ben. He's been my favorite character for a long time and it's nice to see him doing more stuff than looking creepy and being vague.

Sawyer's growing, too. I mean I've always loved Sawyer, and he was my favorite character before Ben, but his relationships with the other characters (namely Hurley) are really evident now. Oh wow, character development. Unfortunately Jack's still a piece of crap who nobody cares about.

Theories and shit: Teleportation to the Sahara desert? Time travel has been an obvious one for a while now, especially with that video where the rabbit duplicated itself. The polar bear in the desert thing from the beginning of the seasons now actually ties in, since Ben showed up in a similar spot.

And a kickass smoke monster scene. We haven't heard much about him in a while and I'm glad they haven't forgotten about the smoke monster for all the "oh man a boat" shit.

As your title says "Spoilers" I'm not going to cover anything up.

Sawyer > Jack. Jack is the worst leader EVER. Has he made a single correct decision thus far?!

It's not showing over here until the fourth of May - it used to be a week behind the US and now for some bizarre reason it's two - but I couldn't help myself but load up Lostpedia and read the episode synopsis anyway!

Poor Alex ;_; I'm 100% sure Mummy's alive now, and she's going to be PISSED.

What about the doctor?! He's apparently still alive on the freighter - is this related to the time distillation thingy... that he can be on the Island before he died? This lends weight to the idea that I've liked since they introduced the wrecked plane - that it's actually the result of a similar kind of paradox, and those people on the bottom on the sea really ARE the Oceanic passengers.

I don't watch it on TV myself. There are multiple sites online where you can find the actual episodes. I can't name any names, though...

What about in the IRC? *wink-wink*, *nudge-nudge*  Nah. Just kidding. I watch it with my mum... it's been, like, our thing for four years now. Can't spoil that by watching it before hand... now reading is enough kettle of eggs entirely

I hated this show when it came out...course I didn't give it a chance..I saw bits and pieces and had a major WTF moment.  This is until just a month ago my friend at work told me I had to watch it.  I went and Got Seasons 1-3 and watched an episode, then immedately watched the first three seasons non stop  (not liteally..just in all my spare time..I spent one full weekend watching only Lost...literally..)

Amazing show..ridiculous..but amazing.

I agree with you too Des, about Ben..he's always been a likeable character..in a not likeable way.  Does that make sense..but after this last episode about him in the desert...funny how you actually start to genuinely like the guy eh?

I miss a certain band member though..(I left the specifics out for those who may not watch or have watched yet)...damn.  New episode in 1 hour.

Claire just wandered off into the woods. And considering that Christian Shepherd is Jacob, she'll probably be chillin' in Jacob's cabin next episode when Locke, Ben and Hurley get there.

I've seen a promo pic which seems to show Claire in the rocking chair during the next episode.

But you really think she just abandoned Aaron to go wandering off after a vision of her dead father? Given the way that Miles was behaving towards her - and I think in this episode there was the final proof that the whispers are the dead, could she not have died in the last episode and now be a corporeal ghost thingy?

I'm angry. I was really hoping Danielle would crop up alive ready to kick Keamy's arse for executing her daughter. And I'm mad that Smokey didn't kill Keamy either - although I guess we'd need the satisfaction of closure there.

Moving the island is ridiculous even for Lost standards.

That last episode was great, I can't wait for a showdown between the military types and the Others, it's gonna be sweeeet. Presuming it happens (will want my money back if it doesn't)

Um, by using the Orchid. That pretty much sums it up.

But the Oceanic Six are all over the place... and then there's the little details like Ben's wacking-stick being given to Locke... so we know they have to meet up again.

And we're can't even be 100% sure of what The Orchid actually does, apart from the fact that it is apparently going to "move the Island". (I was a little disappointed because I'm still hoping Locke, Ben and Hurley will be getting off and pushing).

The flashforwards are apparently "the season within the season" - so will we see an effort of the Oceanic Six to be back at the end of the flashforwards? What's going to happen to the time frame! Argh! So many questions!!!!

And what is "The Frozen Donkey Wheel"?

WTF?!?!? Is Claire dead? What happened to her? Is Sawyer going to be the new Michael (WAAAAAAAALLLLLT!)
My theories:
a) Claire is a zombie now.
b) Locke will move the island not in the "conventional" way but in time. o_O

There will be another electromagnetic explosion(?) in the seson finale.

I don't think "zombie" is quite the right way to put it. I think, as the Island seems to exist in all times simultaneously, like... you know the idea that the Universe exists all at once but we only see one bit of it at a time? I think what happens to the dead people is similar to that... somehow... that people continue to exist after death but not in the "now". The Island's electromagnetic field or general wierdness allows a pattern of the consiousness to be reproduced or simulated or whatever.

I don't care where Locke's moving it too - I just want to know how the Island is going to feature in the last two series.... the producers have said that the Island is always going to be the focal point of the show, and that's why there is a "season within a season" of off-Island flashforwards...so I guess what I'm really asking is how do the flashforwards end. XD

Have you ever played Lost Via Domus?
The climax of the story is the Purple Sky event of the season two finale, and then the character appears to travel back in time to the moment of the crash but with the circumstances slightly altered. The producers have said that it was a very specific ending for a reason, and not just for a mindf**k I think that's fairly significant to how this season finale is going to go. Maybe the plane that was found on the bottom of the ocean really is Oceanic 815, and maybe the coverstory the Oceanic Six have invented is not entirely untrue.

So...?

I expected at least one comment to have appeared by now!

I'm... meh. I was expecting more answers. Very cool in places though. I nearly cried when Sawyer decided to jump off the helicopter, and I did when Jin went "Boom!" (When the ship blew up - not in Desmond's "Here's the many ways we could die" speach pre-titles)

So... It's set up that the death of "Jeremy Bentham" is made to look like a suicide... I presume this means that Widmore's crowd got to him then? Was it Sun? Did it have to do with that conversation Sun had with Widmore in London? (A bar that actually exists where it is, I might add, and not like the "Penny and Des Photo" location in Flashes Before Your Eyes, or Charlie outside Covent Garden in Greatest Hits) Has Sun sold out the Oceanic Six to Widmore?!

I can't wait an effing year for Season Five.

Lost's representation of London is awful, but at least they shot on location this time!

I can't imagine Penny and Des will be reunited for long if Ben gets his killy-killy ways.

I'd imagine we'd see a stand off between Sayid and Desmond. Am I the only one who has noticed that Ben and Desmond haven't actually been in the same place at the same time yet? For a time, I felt that there was going to be a story there...
