Some wallpapers I made.

I decided to make a few wallpapers for my upcoming fan-game, Phantasy Star IV: Beneath a New Light. I was inspired by the official Fire Emblem 7 artwork. I use Paint Shop Pro 8 to colour my work. I hope you like them, and I am open to feedback. Only then can I better my work with constructive criticism.

Rune's pose is obviously based off Pent's artwork. ^^

yeah the text clashes horribly with the wallpapers.. you should find some way to blend it in.. i can see that you're familiar with blending methods, as the characters in the background are blended.

other than that, the composition is pretty solid, and the characters are certainly not bad. you could spruce up the whole by adding some sort of frame, in a medieval theme.

another thing.. I'd not name those 'wallpapers'.. the term wallpaper refers to the picture people use on the desktop of their computer.. nowadays those aren't typically 640x480 pixels in width and height.. so I'd rather call it fan-art. (but that's just me being picky) :D

Yeah, I was thinking of maybe changing the text into a more neutral colour, like black or dark grey. Funnily enough, Samot, I was messing around with a couple of frames in Paint Shop Pro, and the overall effect looked pretty good. I'll have to experiment a bit more, though. Good thing I still have my actual editable PSP8 file, so I can mess around a bit.

Well I personaly think the text works it gives it a portrait feel if that makes sense so thats wat I think its upi to you what to do.
