the priority is 5
.. I dont really see why it is doing that. I cant walk on it when near the side. I walk right over the front and I go under it in back. It's very odd..

OK. It's not doing anything wrong, to begin with. Roof tiles like that are designed so that you can go into them a depth of one tile (that's the square passability bit). Try changing your map so that that horizontal line is at least two squares thick. The autotile doesn't even really look good when it's only 1 thick, IMO. As for the priority, try messing around with it so that your character goes under it. If 5 gives that result, try 4. Hope this helps.

If the priority is five, it shouldn't be doing that.  Check it again, apply, save, test.
