Soldat IMO the best free shooter game you can DL on the web. at www.soldat.pl. IF you dont know what it is its a side scroling shooting game like worms but well its not turn base. I know Duratik plays and so does Paradoc.. i think thats how its spelled. Man i was playing paradoc today and i owned him. He killed me once

Meh. I've played it. Seems like the kind of game where if you're actually, truly trying, you utterly suck, and if you simply jump around and fire indiscriminately, you win. Sort of like Unreal Tourney 2004.

i used to be a legend in that game in beta all the way to v1.0.5c.... but i left because i grew out of being to well known.... i entered deathmatch servers and people just left because it was pointeless to play me.. i'd just end up winning...

I doubt it if any of the oldbies from when i played are still around, most are from SV (soldat veterans), and SV is owned by some new fucking little 12 year old now anyway... cuz Outcast left AFAIK... but if there ARE any oldbies there, ask on the forums if anyone remembers Shadow-[ESO]- or the ESO clan in general, which i was the owner of. also ask if anyone remembers Campin Carl.. which was the League Manager of my clan.....

I don't liked it as I first played it... I spend and hour or so to get the basics, but it really made me bored... it's what Emu said, start a shooting frenzy and you'll win... (unlike UT2004, by the way ). I prefer Worms, because it's far more tactical.

Soldat is pretty great! I introduced it to some peepz at school and we would have random LAN tournaments during class periods. It was fun.

I played it for a while, but it's nothing like any FPS. I prefer playing MOHAA than Soldat. But I spent many hours with my stylish char.

I prefer Liero Xtreme; pretty much the same thing but with much more interesting weaponry, especially with the mods.
