So it installed but still errors

So I finally got rmxp to install however for some reason whenever I test a game the character automatically walks to the left without stopping and if I press another button he then starts going up and then finishes going to the left. This error occurs in all of my games no matter what even if I just started it. Thx for the help.

All of your games? Sounds like a fault in your hardware than a problem with RMXP. Try replacing your keyboard and see if the problem still persists.

Uhm, sabao is right there might be a problem in your hardware or your keyboard.
But you can try to restart your computer. Because sometimes there's something happens with the keyboard. Mine sometimes stops functioning and the first thing to do is restart the computer so that it can refresh.
And if it still bothers you, you might want to download RMXP again.

1) Find gamepad.
2) Realize the Left button is stuck between a wall and your computer, for example.
3) Unstick button.
4) ????
5) Profit.

well its a new laptop and I know the keyboards fine b/c it only happens in rmxp games.

I remember having the same problem way back when I first installed it. A hard restart (fully shutting down the computer, then turning it back on) fixed it for me.
