So hard to choose!

Okay, there are sooo many games out/are coming out for PS3, that I have no idea what to spend my 60 bucks on. There's MAG, Little Big Planet, MAG, God of War III, MAG, Heavy Rain, God of War III, and Little Big Planet.

I just don't know what to choose. I might be able to get two games, because I already have $60, so maybe I can get a game now, and by March, I can get God of War III. Heavy Rain I don't really know much about, but it seems like it's going to be a really good game, and Little Big Planet I know is a must, but is there a better game I should buy?

All I know about Heavy Rain is it seems like it will be pretty goddamn fun. From what I've heard, there are MANY different endings to the game, and no game over. If you screw up a move, it just leads to another scene, and if you end up killing your guy/girl that you're playing as, it just leads to a different ending.. that sounds really cool to moi.

LittleBigPlanet is great, so much replayability, and they're adding water to the game soon as well as the ability to make games online with friends.. can't wait for those things.

MAG is just.. amazing. Played some more of the Beta last night, and I was finally able to be a Squad leader.. omfg. It's friggin amazing. I get to set objectives for my squad to do, and they do it (or they don't.. then we lose), and occasionally I get to call in artillery strikes and air strikes on vehicles and people respectively. Point is.. being a leader is going to be a highly sought position in the final game.

GoWIII idk anything about. I've never played the other 3 games.

Get one now, and then save your money for another. March is seven months away. That should be plenty of time to scrounge up at least another $60

... Buy all of 'em ? Get the ones that come out before Christmas, for Christmas... and get the ones after, after...

Unless money is some kind of an issue... then get a paper route, lol.

Although LittleBigPlanet is only like £15 here now, which is $25ish... so I'm sure you could find a cheap copy and add the rest of the money with the money from your new paper route, and buy the other games when they're released, lol.

As for me, I DO have money, but I also have parents, lol

I would suggest to buy God of War 3 and MAG if you really are short on money.

I would question the decison to spend X amount on a console if your financial position means you have to wait over half a year between games purchases. It's like getting a car knowing you can't afford the petrol.

inorite, and actually to be fair, I would recommend buying God of War 3... but come on, that's six whole months away !

For the time being, pick up LittleBigPlanet, since it's the only one that's out at the moment...

I mean, don't you get money for Christmas ? Or your birthday ? You don't have to buy the games on release day, since they're obviously more expensive then, but if you want to, it's all up to you.

Heavy Rain is an adventure game that looks so good it's hard to believe; but it's an adventure title with little emphasis on combat, so that one's not exactly high on my list. GoW III looks excellent, and it's a maybe (I never really tried GoW for PS2). LittleBigPlanet I've heard is great fun, and I plan to get it too. M.A.G looks pretty good if you like big, objective MMOFPS kind of gameplay.

It's inevitably gonna be your decision, so I'd just look into them all.

60GB PS3 FTW, lol... although I REALLY need to upgrade the HDD... problem is I can't back my data up (Used 52GB) since I don't have an external HDD with that much space left (Only 8GB left on my 1TB External...), so basically... I'm screwed.

look for another 10 euro then go to play.com and buy BOTH MAG (51,99€) and LBP (15,57€) (total: 67,56)..
then wait until march and buy Heavy Rain or God Of War (My vote goes to GoW but thats because I was addicted to the 2 earlier)

Guys, just to make it clear, I'm definitely getting God of War III over any other game the second it comes out in March so the question is what to buy right now. The only game I'm interested in that is out right now is LBP, but I know there are a few others that I want but I can't remember. When I head over to Gamestop, I'll browse around. I need a racing game, too.

Uncharted 2 releases right on my birthday lol.
Ugh, should I get U2 or ACII? They're both in the same general time period.

OKAY, this is what it's come down to.

Round I: Infamous or LBP
Round II: Uncharted 2 or Assassin's Creed II

Round 1: I'd go with LBP, multiplayer games always (or mostly) have a longer life span and LBP is really cool.
Round 2: Uncharted 2 without a doubt! (I'm a big fan of AC but Uncharted just is the bigger game out there)

I agree with everything he's just said, although if you can find inFamous cheap anywhere (Preowned maybe), I'd pick it up, just because the story is pretty fucking amazing.

1.) Infamous: IMO its like one of the best games out right now. Little Big Planet is cool but unless your good with the editor it gets boring real fast

2.) Uncharted 2: It has online so it should be worth the full price UNLIKE THE FIRST! wtf is up with it being 7 hours? AC2 should be good but I would wait a month or so before getting it. Let people tell you if its really repetitive like the first, that what i plan on doing

I think you'd be better off buying a couple of games that are good, and have been out a while so they're cheaper. I don't see any sense in buying one game and then another. There are very few games which would last 6 months (If any). LBP should be pretty cheap by now, so you could probably scape in a couple more games along with that. (Depending on what you want)

I wouldn't say LBP gets boring, there just are so many levels that if you press 'Play now' you have endless amount of levels, sure 90% is shit BUT there are soime REAL good ones, and just look after more levels made by that creator. (only thing I don't like about LBP is the 'Play' trophie xD)

Uncharted 1 wasn't 7 hors, single playtrough mayby. but if going for all medal( which is the same as trophies) thelenght gets lots bigger (took me 2 days to plat , which adly is nothing... but the game itself still is fucking amazing my favorite ps3 game so far)..

also, fuck all the bullshit about repetivness; EVERY GAME is repetive! I had 100000x as more probleme with the repetiveness in Fallout 3 then AC.. AC is a descent game so its always fun to mess around lol. (compared to fallout 3 which i think is the biggets overhyped crap ever made).
