So for people who HAVENT played battlefield, it's basically known for a well done campaign, with multiplayer supporting air, ground, and naval combat, with large battlefields. Past games have been Battlefield 1942 (and 1943), which covered WW2, and then such modern games as BF2, BF:BC, and BF:BC2. This looks like it might be the best one!

Honestly, looks nice and all but I just don't see what this game has to offer that every other FPS CoD4 Clone out there doesn't. See Halo I can see the appeal of, a great sci-fi setting and an interesting story.

The main hook the BF franchise has is it's (pretty amazing) destruction engine. It's not in the trailer Necrile posted, but check some gameplay and you can see that there's some awesome things that can be done.
