Snow-Love it or hate it?

With winter on its way and many people (including me) already getting pounded with snow, I have a question for the forum-Do you like snow?

Do you do love snow? Do you love the idea of getting a blizzard in your town and having two feet of snow the next day? Do you like the idea of going out for a walk in the snow? Maybe you like going sledding or skiing. (my favourite sport) Heck, maybe you just like to look outside and see all the fluffy white stuff out there.

Or do you loathe snow with a passion? Do you hate the prospect of having to shovel your driveway? Maybe you hate the cold that goes with the snow. Maybe you love it when spring finally arrives and the dreaded snow melts. Or maybe you just hate walking in it.

I'd like to hear all your opinions on the white stuff here! I personaly looove it for many reasons-I like walking in it, skiing is awesome, and it cancels buses. My parents hate it though, mostly because they hate shovelling the driveway. If you live somewhere that never gets snow or gets it very rarely then post maybe if you wish you had no snow or are glad you don't. All discussion relating to snow goes here!

I hate when cold really just bites at you - but in general? Snow is pretty cool. Over here half of our weather gets stuck in the mountains, but we still get a fair amount of it down here in the valley.
Makes for a perfect skiing and snowboarding season.
+Winter Olympics came here so obviously we have something going right with our snow.

When it snows here, there's a chance school could be closed. So yeah, I like snow. It never snows enough to be "snowed in", just enough for a major road to be closed.

Oh and it's funny seeing my dog panic in the snow.

If I could I'd live in the Antarctic waste (but no snow D.  I remember one of my happiest memories was when there was so much snow - and mind you I was young, that it came up to my shoulders.  We got hit with three big blizzard systems in the space of like two days.  1992 or 1994.  It was awesome.  I'd have been 10 or 12.  Most awesome shit ever.
Hell I even love rain.

So naturally I'm full throttle on the smile when it snows heavy.

No, it's fun if you're a kid and you don't have to do shit except hope school closes, or if your parents don't make you shovel snow, or you live in an area where you get snow but it never gets too cold, but for everywhere else it's fucking freezing and you have to go out at 3am to shovel snow in -10 degree weather, and an hour later another five fucking feet of snow has landed and you have to shovel that, and it's full of ice and you can't walk fucking everywhere cause your neighbor's a lazy douche who doesnt shovel the walkway in front of his house so it's full of ice, and you gotta walk the dog at like, 7am and you don't have a car so you have to rely on walking everywhere or getting on the trains/buses that don't fucking work if the weather gets below 60 degrees, and the snow gets in your pants and shoes unless you wear gaudy looking winter wear.

So no, snow sucks. I wouldn't mind if it I lived in a house with a heated garage with a good car and other people to shovel the snow. But if you have to deal with snow then it sucks.

generally, I love snow. I like rain better, but that kind of goes without saying because I really love rain (so long as I'm not cold and wet (p.s. I promise I don't like rain for some pretentious scenekid reason, I just feel PUMPED or something when it rains, idk.))if you're equipped to not freeze to death, then there's really nothing better than being outside on a snowy winter day, provided it's not all gray and icky outside. I like snow best when it's wet enough to pack and make into cool stuff, so it's really best when it's been sunny. between the different seasons I'd say it's a definite 50-50 balance between warm weather and cold weather, but snow is definitely one of those things that makes me miss winter sometimes when it's summer.

I love making snowmen. I should make one and take a picture.

I love Snow too. I build Igloo's all the time.

My favorite Winter moment was when we were running and sliding at school and you could slide around a corner. Well I took off and slid, well my dumb ass didnt look around the corner and see if anyone was coming. Well as soon as I got around the corner, there was like 5 huge dudes. I Busted my ass, slid, took their asses out, and got up and ran.

Another thing you can do in the winter is when the benches Ice over (For some reason Our school benches do) You can Run, Jump, And slide across the top of the bench.
