Radeth Productions is glad to finally announce the first release of, Snow Blind! The first release includes many levels of gameplay, and the advanced shoveling features you see in stats throughout the game. I know the game is short, but why not spend some time on the game to pass a few minutes here and there! All the voice acting is done by myself, and I tried to make it somewhat funny to add humor to the game. Please download the small file, and try out your copy today!

UPDATES

A game based on shoveling snow with stats and achievements? I am amused.

I'll give it a shot when I have some free time, but from the screenshots it looks promising. Original graphics are a plus too, though I'm not liking the windowskin colors, and the trees aren't completely consistent with the rest of the tileset. You may also want to edit the shadows to be translucent. Otherwise, looking forward to trying it out.

Okay, I will make sure to make a list of changes for the final decision on whether I should finish the game! Thank you for the quick feedback! I hope you like the game! I have been fighting with myself if this is even a good idea. :D

you dont seem to be asking for critique so i wont, but should you finish this? by far my answer is yes, i very much enjoyed playing the game :) hope to see more

:P I do want critique also, but not to be too harsh about it because it is in pre-beta stages and this release is just to see if I should finish it. I would also ask if people could give me more suggestions on what they want to see if they want me to finish the game. :) I will be running this pole for about 2 more weeks and then I will make the decision if there are enough people voting yes. I want to complete the game, but I don't want to release a boring game no one will play. :P Thanks again!!

im gonna play it a few more times when i get off work then ill let you know what i think, the one thing i remember is there was a black in white screen at the very beginning of the intro, then a few colored then the snow. the black and white picture didnt seem to fit in

Okay, what do you mean by the last part? Could you send me a screen shot of it or something please? :P I don't think I fully understand what you are saying about it.

Sorry, let me correct myself. :P The scene is a flashback of what happened, so that is why it is gray instead of dark out...if that makes sense. :)

Alright, you got me there. :P I will make it more "nighty" in effect to the scenes. :P Thank you for the feedback! And I see another person wants me to finish the game too! :P I wish I could get some feedback on what people think and why they think I should finish it. :) Even if it is only because they think it is a good idea!

(o.o) I haven't played this, but it sounds like fun. Actually, if I had more time I would download this. Maybe I'll download it tomorrow and give that little game a play. But i don't have to play it to say "YES! You should finish making it." Plus it has a real place in Colorado, which is nice.

My review. I find it funny because I live in Southern Colorado, and well, snow it depends on where you've lived. My city of Canon City would be screwed if there was ever a blizzard and the local Wal-mart is always packed when rumors of snow come. Trust me. There is a few bugs in the tutorial like I had to push the "Q" button twice to get it to recognize I had push it. God, you could replace the town with mine, because they don't plow here at all, the county does. Lazy bums. Anyway, I liked the "new game" "continue" and "exit" but I think it was too light. I think you should make those darker, or else, get rid of the white at top. I can't tell you or even suggest as color isn't my strong point. I think the intro music clashes with the title music while the title is warm christmas, the intro title is sort of dark.

I think the tutorial's voice was fun, and very informative, when I remembered to install the fonts. (o.o) But that's me, ms. oblivious.

:P Thank you for the full review on it! How did you like the evented shoveling system? :P And the reason the intro music is dark is because they are dark times. :) And I have to find time to make new midis for the game. :D I can work on the contrast, but it sure looked fine on my computer screen, and I have an HD tv. :) I will darken them up though! And that is funny that you like the voice...that is my voice. :)

The furthest I got was when it said not to push any buttons or I'd be punished. Well, it said it was just a warning, but then, it  turned off when I didn't push anything. I'm going to try it later. Well, the voice sounded all professional like something you'd hear on a professional game. I'm going to play again and see if I can get further.

edit: I think the system is fun, but I keep "pissing" the game off causing it to return to title. (o.o) But it's actually fun, and when I can get to that point. I always push the wrong button by mistake, and it ends up going back to title.
