I'm just curious how many of you actually know this game... it's originally for an arcade, but has been ported to SNES, MegaDrive and lately released on X-Box Live Arcade for the 360.

In my opinion, it's one of the greatest multiplayer games of all time unless you request a sense behind what you're doing.
Here's a little screen for your orientation...

The basic structure is pretty simple: Two (or one, if you can't find someone as silly as you are :D ) players compete for the biggest prize while shooting through a TV studio and gathering goods like a 'Year Supply of good Meat' :P

The game is incredibly fun, and if you haven't played it, you should do immediately. The Arcade version is the most detailed, but the hardest undoubtly... The SNES has the second best graphics and a moderate difficulty.

Please say what you think and vote in the poll.

Was this the game with a cutscene somewhere through it where the player is thrown into an electric chair? It says something like "Fry like a pig" and you have to mash the buttons as quickly as possible

Either way, played Smash TV and loved it. If I had a 360, I'd buy it :)

It was not this game, obviously, as there are no such impressive features inside ^_^

PS: Who is the guys who voted for the third option and now hides behind Mutoid Man? :D

Bluescope, you forgot to mention that it was also ported to the NES.

Either way, Smash TV is a wonderful game be it by yourself or with a friend. I own both the NES version(Which I can no longer play. Screw you 72-pin connector) and the Xbox 360 LIVE Arcade version.

Death to all who picked option 3!

It was ported to the NES, but because there's a SNES version (called Super Smash TV, BTW), I considered it redundant to add... there are also C64 and other versions around, but nearly nobody owns/is able to play them... but of course you're right, there is a NES version :D (I'd buy that for a dollar! :D)
