Skye's Workshop

I got bored with HK's.  :neutral: No offense Show, but I wanted to do one of my own, and a little smaller. In my very occasional spare time, I've been working on this one. I dub this template Nova. SK encouraged me to release it eventually, and since I may never do more then finish it, I've decided to make it available.

You may test it if you like. It is a W.I.P. However, and in order to use it, you will need to be proficient at dressing a template.

Comments and critique are encouraged. I don't really wanna here any "OH GAWD! Not ANOTHER template! comments, because they are pointless.

i think people who say "ph gawd not another template" are retarded, more templates of good quality = more diverse looking games. im actually thinking of making my own template for my game, but ive grown fond of the alphaZ template .
this template appears to be coming along nicely, i like the way she kind of prances around

The front view looks very nice, but something about her strikes me as ... alien. Perhaps the skull could be brought down a pixel or two, and the shoulders softened? They're irregularly square.

Aside from that, this is a very curvy template, and the sideviews don't replicate that curviness. Maybe draw out the breast a pixel and the stomach could pop inward a pixel. Also she could use some toe definition on the sideview, to match the front. Lastly I think the nose... stub-part is too high, and the ear needs to be brought down a pixel on the sideviews.

The backview could use the same critique as the front, except also, the scapulae are too low/boxy, there could be a shaded line for the vertebral column indentation, and the butt is very pancakey--reduce the heavy outlines underneath it in lieu of just shading instead and it'll look rounder and less saggy.

Off topic: I'm trying to figure out this desktop recording device. With a little luck, I'll be able to get those tut's done soon that I promised for the HKCP. I've had a heavy load of art outside of pixels to do in my spare time lately. But that should clear in a few weeks.

Nice to hear from you. I'll see what I can do with your advice about the template. The sideview looks sooooo crappy. I don't know where to go with it ATM, so I just kinda did it in like 1/2 an hour

the new sideview looks a lot more natural, i think what made it look weird in the first version was that it was too flat on the front from the breasts down
 
I REEAAALLY like the hands in the front and back views.
They get a little bit blocky on the side view though, maybe thin the wrist a bit.

The first frame reminds me a lot of Garnet from FF9, the way the arms hang.

The head being too big is called "style" as it was a deliberate malformity. But yes, I do need to relax the arms a bit. She looks weird with her arms kinda held out like that.
