Skills on weapons

what i would like is basically a AP system if any of you played FF. i have a script that allows me to learn skills when i equip a wepoan, but when the weaopn is dequiped then i lose skill. Can you write me script so that i can gain enough ap or xp while wearing the weapon that i permanete keep the skill. thx in advance.
