Simple Transition question in xp!

Hey guys i have a easy question reguarding the prepare and execute transition commands in rmxp since i've never used those commands before. Other than teleporting what else can you use the transition effect for? Like can you use it for transitioning pictures, or transitioning text that you have printed and then deleted from the screen. Thanks :)

Transitions are used for many things. Anytime you want to set up the screen "behind the curtain".

The "Prepare for Transition" command executes a Graphics.freeze, which essentially freezes whatever
is on the screen at that time. Kinda like pausing a video.

Then you can continue to do whatever you want (show picture, teleport, etc..), and the user won't
see anything change until you execute the "Transition".  Your imagination is the limit!

Note that the "Fading" option in "Transfer Player" (teleport) IS a transition. So if you have the Graphics frozen, then teleport with "fading", it will 'unfreeze' the graphics, and the user will see the fade-in to the new map.

Make sense?

Also, if you have fading, and an execution afterwards, there'll be a pause before you can do anything again.
