Hi all. I was just browsing the net and stumbled on this site, and tried to register, when it told me the name was already taken. Apparently I signed up already some time ago, then forgot haha. Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself and whatnot.

My real name is Aten, I live in Fiji, which is a tropical island (much to my dismay haha). I'm a hobbyist game maker. I like making games as both a hobby and a challenge. I'm currently trying to make a game using the Linear Motion Battle System similar to Tales of Eternia but that's probably not to be mentioned in an intro topic xD

Well... the only downfall about a tropical island? It's always so HOT! I'd give anything to see snow instead :D

Hi, I live in a place that is hot and doesn't snow either, luckily there is no humidity. :D
And there is snow about 3 hours away. O:
And its not an island, its a desert.
So yes, where we live are completely different from eachother. :D

Yeah I live in Florida. It's just like living in a tropical island ... Without any of the exotic scenery, beauty, mystery, etc. Just a lot of rednecks and meth and swamps :[

Lots of skinny trees and cypresses and palm bushes all huddled together, covered in moss and web-looking brown vines, in very soggy/waterlogged land. sometimes there is razor grass (named because the grass actually will slice your shit up if you walk through it) and there are always about 4.5 million bugs per square foot. it smells like feet.
can be pretty though, if it's more watery than muddy.

you can't walk through it unless you like losing limbs to snapping turtles or alligators. or being poisoned by water moccasins (snakes).

but if you like mosquitoes and humidity--wellp, come a'runnin I guess
