Show Picture question

This has been bugging me for a while.
Is there any way (even via scripting) to make a picture shown through the show picture command not through? Not in the sense that the player cannot pass through the picture, but the player will instead be on top of the picture instead of going under it.

The only way you can go about this is changing the z-level of the displayed Game_Picture instance, meaning you'll have to use scripting. Either way, it's very likely that there's a more efficient way of doing this, so yeah... how about you tell us what you want instead?

I'm working on an evented title screen and (both a press enter and options like new game, continue...etc...) and the fact the player (as a cursor) passes under the show pictures really bothers me.

You could....

put your images in a tileset & just make them part of the map.
Maybe use the panorama for the background if needed.

Or, make the player character invisible (no graphic), and create another (higher level) picture for the cursor that follows the player.
