show an item and amount on map

could someone please help me locate or create a simple script to just show ONE item on the map, i just want it to show the icon and a number showing the amount that you have in your inventory here is a screenshot of what it should look like

also if no one really wants to do this, i supose i could do this in events and no im not asking for the events cause i know how, i would just really rather like this done with a script, also could it be made so that it can be turned off by a switch.
