It is okay I am ok with everyone, and please don't think of me any less...I am a decent game designer, I just like to test things out like other people, but I was just curious if it was an ok game. thanks everyone, and look forward to my new game

It's been up one day, dude. Don't expect to instantly get praised. :l Plus, your story is vague, and you talk more about the battles and how hard they are as well as the events in sequential order instead of actually telling the plotline. And I don't want to play a game that has a story "made up in 10 minutes." :down:

Yeah, thanks...just because a game is THOUGHT up in 10mins doesn't mean that the story is horrible...it took me almost 4 days to make, and I worked on it non-stop...couldn't you at least try it out? It isn't that bad....sheesh!

Read up on the forum rules kiddo. You need to wait 72 hours before bumping anything. You have TONS to work on, but far be it for me to go into it, I'll let others download it and give you feedback. I'm strongly urged to move this to Early Projects just so you can feedback and better your game. That being said I'm going to move this. If any other mods or admins feel that it shouldnt be moved, then please feel free to change it again.

Meh. I don't have anything against the default battle system, it's just...I'm not particularly fond of it. At least you have animated gradient bars. And yes, take out the apostrophes! It's okay in one or two names, but when everyone's name has an apostrophe, it's just annoying.
"Hey M'ike! I see you're with Je'niff'er."
"Yeah! Where's Jor'dan?"
See what I mean? It's just annoying. Just take them out and the names sound fine.

Yes, I understand about the apostrophes, but it was just to make the names unique, and it kind of went with the names...but, yeah, this isn't a game that is going to be improved, it was just so I can keep my skills fresh. Since I can't work on my main game right now...so yeah, thanks for the feedback though in case I do decide to continue it.

well if this project is just to keep your skills fresh then why do you want to be criticized on it. since its in early projects you want some advise but you arent even sure if your going to finish it, atleast that what i think you said. Seem like you should just take an idea and run with it and about half way ask what people think. like the forum rules say, this is for serious descousion on how to improve... since thats wha early projects is for i will do such...

Um, the story is realy short...to short for me, bu im picky about these things. um the character bios seem weird. To me they fill empty...

Wait...it's going to be commercial? As in selling it for money? A new one, eh...well, just realize that making a game commercial is a BIG undertaking, larger than many realize...it takes pretty much nearly years of work, and I don't think you can use the RTP in it...correct me if I'm wrong though. Good luck if that's your decision, just try and realize that its a lot more work than meets the eye.

I have seen waaay too many games use apostrophes. I see Despain's point, there is only one name without the apostrophes.

The story is... bland? It's got no information? And right now I wouldn't pay 1 cent for this game - I don't even want do download it for free.

Going commercial is huge. I'm sorry you can just say "I'm gonna sell my game! :B" you have to put in a lot of time and effort and work, you can't borrow anything without paying them or getting strict permission... right now you don't look like you put any effort into this game. I'm sorry, you have to be incredibly serious if you want to THINK about going commercial. Trust me.

Anyway, the approximate play time? What a load of crap. It took me less then an hour to do it, and I'm slow at completing games :|

Sheesh, let's see what you can do in three days! Make the world's best game in three days!

If you dont make a good plot overview, people won't play the game.  And if it's a just a game to brush up on your skills, why ask for critque?

Heh you guys made a good point...I don't know why I posted it, maybe to see if it really was ok for being made in 3 days but hey, I don't mind, I am making another game that doesn't have any battles, and it is a puzzle game that I already have the plot set out for it, and I am working on the character bios.
