Serial Code problem

I purchased the program like a year ago and in that time I had to re-install RMXP several times, each time being able to use the same serial code to get a new activation code. However, just today, without having re-installed the program or anything, it asks me for a new activation code. I want to generate one and enter the serial code as always, but now it says that it has already been registered? What's up with this?

You see everytime you re-installed your using a point on your serial code, It can only be actived so many times, and yours is now finished, Its to prevent copying of the code. Sorry to tell you but i think you might have to re-purchase a new code. I'm not totally sure this is your problem though.

If you are using Vista do two things:
1) Turn off user account control (optional, but a good thing to do)
2) go to RMXP, wherever you have stored it (Usually C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\RPGXP\ ) right click on it, go to properties and tick the run in compatability mode box and select run in compatability mode for windows XP SP2.

I had the same problem when I was moving it to a new computer.
That being said, if that doesn't work you should just torrent a Keygen, I think it's ok since you did already buy the program, it's safer to torrent it because most of the websites that have it are virus filled.

Contact Protexis (support@protexis.com) which is the distributor for the English version and explain the situation. Just give them as much information as possible about the situation and some kind of proof of purchase and they should be able to give you a new serial number.
