(Sephy's) Equipment Skills trouble with party switching.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Sephirothspawn for his Equipment skill script (Version 2), it is excellent.

However, I am having a problem with the following:

I have observed that whenever I switch party members out of the party, they forget all the skills they learned previously, and they eventually have to re-learn all of them again.

Currently, I'm working with two parties (one 2 person and one 4 person party) in the storyline, and they merge eventually, and acquire another person, so we're talking about a 7-people pool, and the max size of the party at any time is 4 (using the Caterpillar script, which does not support more than 4), so that means that when the player wants to change his party members around... he'll find that his level 20 Technologist suffers from an acute amnesia :)

(To clarify: Afer a particular branch is over and the parties switch over, I use Blizzard's party switcher script to make everyone in the old party "disabled for party", and everyone in the new party tagged "must be in party")

I am using Blizzard's Easy Party Switcher (Version 1.2b) and Seph's Equipment Skill Version 2.

I would appreciate if anyone can find a way for the characters to retain their learned skills and AP points. I hope there is a way to work this out.

Thank you!

-Maus, definitely not a coder.

The only thing I can think of, is when it switches the members, it resets their stats altogether. Let me take a look at his switcher system...

I couldn't find anything in his system that would point to this... I just don't understand why he did somethings. :P

Could you make a demo, just in case, and give it to me. I will take a look from there.

Well , I found the problem. It's not related to the Party Switching script at all, but with the character adding mechanism in the game itself. If, instead of using the party switcher, I command the program to substract a character from the party, when I ask him to add the character again to the party, that character's learned skills immediatelly become blank: he forgets all of them.

I realized that I had forgotten that I had some leftover "Remove" commands after I implemented the party switcher.
