Semi Transparency % level?

When importing a graphical resource and you select the semi-transparent colour with right-click, what percentage % is the semi-transparency? I need to know for some graphical tricks I'm doing (50% seems to be too transparent but I'm not sure). Thank you.

It really depends on the program you're using.  35% is Paint Shop Pro is roughly 75% in Photoshop.  :x

Try anywhere from 60 - 75%.  If that doesn't work, go lower or higher accordingly.

It is the GIMP. I didn't know it changes per program. Is there anywhere in the RMXP script editor that tells the percentage?

Xilef - Atemu's referring to setting semitransparency in your graphics editor program.
In the editor itself, I'm fairly sure it's 50%.

I'm almost certain it is 50%.  For shadows and such.

You can always just set the transparency yourself in the GIMP or whatever program if it looks too transparent.

If you open the file in GIMP, after you import it, you'll see that the solid color has been converted to a 50% gray. You can then adjust it to your liking, and save it.

If you are going to use GIMP, and set the transparencies yourself, you don't need to use the IMPORT function, just save them to your \Graphics\___ folder.
