Self variables?

Wait, what are you trying to ask, are saying that you want self variables like there are self switches? If that's the case I wouldn't see the point, because normal variables should do what you're looking for. On the conditions of the event, just set it so that it's caused by a variable. Or or you asking for something else?
 
I suspect it's for complicated event systems in which each requires its own variable. It's not a bad tool, as it allows you to keep track of every event you create without using up a thousand global variables.
