Self Switch

I recently downloaded the rmxp again after not using the program for almost a year now. I noticed when making events that there is a Self Switch there.
The question is, was that option always there for the rmxp because for some reason I can't remember that option being there.

Does it really matter? It's basically there to cut down on switches and how many switches are used in a project. So it's there for the better.

Not that it matters and yes I know it cuts down on switches. Just a general question as my wife always says I'm losing my mind and maybe she's right  :tongue:

Yes, I believe it was there a year ago (and I think you could figure this out by typing in google something like "Self Switches 2007(or even 2006) Rpg maker Xp").

Yes it most definitely was.
It was not in RM2k/3. Maybe that's what you are thinking about?
