Second Sprite & A little Droid (PA)

I'm new to pixel art and sprites, but thanks to Venetia who mentioned the hair tutorial. Anyway I edited my sprite a lot to try and make it a bit less... crap really.

Everything except the haircut reminds me of the G-Man off've Half Life 2. The haircut looks Beatle'ish, if you were going for that approach.

I think the droid needs more saturation between the colors. Oh, and the dithering on the human sprite is too... grainy. Ven can probably elaborate more.

Well, I'll stop by and give you some critique.
1) The hair doesn't cast a shadow.
2) Go easy on the dithering. Especially on the back view, where the dithering takes almost the shape of a rectangle [] - instead, make it more like a V shape (| \/ |) .
3) I'd recommend lightening the body of the pit droid by a shade or two, and decreasing the saturation of the eye and tip of that stalk thing.

All in all, nice work, though.

His hair does look like the Beatles style...  Gotta say I like that, lol, go Beatles.  I think the robot needs a bigger palette.  Mainly a lighter gray, he's a little to dark.

Shouldn't the antenna thing on the robot be on the left side when on the back view?

Yeah the robots awesome, but use more colors. It looks kind of flat
