scripting

I need help spriting!  I am trying to make legend of zelda and Kingdom Hearts character sets for RPG Maker XP, but it's either I just don't get it or I'm not doing it right.  I don't want anyone to do it for me but I want someone to explain this to me so I can do it myself.  Thank you.

yea I know my computer's retarted and I meant to put spriting instead of scripting.  I went to attempt to correct it but I already hit post and me thinking I could edit it by hitting the back button, I did just that.
