Script/Event That Calls Picture when certain Moves are used?

I'm using VX, and Also Gubidi's (or however u spell it) tactical battle system. Now, when certain spells or moves are used, I would like for a picture or two, to slide into the screen and then fade away.

I'm guessing I might be able to do this also witha common event, but I'm not used to vx and such, so any help would be appreciated.
