Scene_Movie Script. (playing AVI movies) TroubleShooting

I have normal RPGmakerXP.

When I try this. I only get audio.

No error message. Just the audio from the AVI starts to play without the image and full screen mode jumps to normal screen mode.

I also tested this in normal screen mode. Which did the same thing.

I also noticed that the AVI will play the audio till the end and then return me to the game screen.

If anyone has any advice, links, ect on this subject, please!

SIDENOTE: sorry for any trouble I may have caused.

That might be, because your video uses a codec that rmxp has a problem with.
You should try out some other codecs when encoding your videos..

Thanx McP, I'll give that a try and see what happens!

Oh yeah... in case any didn't allready know... I just read somewhere that you can actually just drop a movie into the Sound effects file and the movie will play.
I tried this and it worked. I'm not sure how to make it stop and return to the game though.

My quest goes on!!!
I'd like to see movies play full screen and in the game window... >_<

Well you should try different types videos to work out the problem or full screen it

I tried that and my game froze completely, nothin happened . I can't get anythin to play the AVI fiels that I want... I miss my FMA...
