I want to know what the fuck they're playing at.

Donnie Darko was a good film. Not a fantastic film, not my favourite film, but a good film nonetheless.

But now they're doing a sequel.

He DIED at the end of DD.

What's worse is that they are already planning Donnie Darko III.

Has anyone seen this? Is it as bad as I imagine? It's a straight-to-DVD release, in the UK at least. Just saw a trailer for it which prompted me to make a thread.

Lol I haven't seen it, and hadn't heard of it until I saw the trailer on tele like 10-20 mins ago, and I thought the same as you, what the fuck are they thinking, they're taking a perfectly good film, and making a mockery of it by making an un-needed sequel, AND planning a third one. Some people are retarded.

to sum it up: its the same movie but with a woman instead of a man, with cheaper stuff and bad actors.
