Runes of the sand cave

Hi all, long time since I posted anything, but here is something I'm working on at the moment.

Uses sitar, some drums, guitar, harp, and bass. Meant for a dungeon in a desert type setting, but dosen't loop very well atm.

Please let me know what you think.

I'm not an expert at music or anything, but I really like this. It's got a nice feel to it and would work perfectly for what you're aiming for.

I reallllly like this, but not for a dungeon personally. I don't find it threatening enough. It sounds more like desert sin filled townish to me. Like a market place music piece or something. I just don't get the dungeon feel form it.

I agree with "Murcu", This song would make a better desert town song than a dungeon. What I would do is slow the tempo and make it more deeper tones but other than that you did an awsome job! You got the style perfectly , keep it up.

Thank you for the input fellas, I'd have to agree it would fit a desert town much better, guess I missed the mark slightly. Think I'll keep this version as a town bgm, and mess around with a copy of it to make it more dungeon like.

That's a good idea actually! If you have someone give you a mission in a desert town with that music playing, and then the person goes out into a desert dungeonish thing to complete it, what you have is a very appropriate theme and variation.
Good idea. I think you could definitely make that work.
