First off, hello there everyone at RMXP.org.
It's been a while since I've been here. I used to stop by quite a bit, both for support and to drop off some neat scripts I'd come up with. The most common script (and arguably my simplest) that I see people use of mine is/was the text outline script. I haven't been by in a while because I've been working on other things, but I recently started working in RMXP again, and have finally reached a Demo Point for my current game. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback, and definitely let me know if you come across any glitches or errors. Thank You.
RUNE
Rune is a Fantasy RPG set in a world that has been covered by a deadly miasma. The miasma lays like a sea across the world, with only mountain tops and high plateaus rising above the poisonous mist. During the day, the places are safe, but at night, the cooling air causes the miasma to rise, making travel difficult and deadly. Prolonged exposure will most certainly bring death. Or, rather, death to humans. Flora and fauna are unaffected by the lethal air, almost acting as if it isn't even there. And this has been the way of the world almost as long as anyone can remember. Only legends and stories remain of times when the miasma did not blanket the planet, and no on is sure what truth - if any - lies behind these tales.
However, the people have begun to worry, as it seems the miasma settles in a little bit higher each day now, slowly encroaching on the little sanctuary the day provides the people of the world. What force is causing this mist to rise? And can it be stopped? Where did it even come from in the first place? The task of finding these answers somehow falls on a young woman, and the friends she makes on her journey.

Main Demo Features
- Rune System
RUNE has a somewhat unique magic system which revolved around Runes (go figure). Runes are small stone tablets - small enough to fit in one's palm - engraved with a symbol and a certain magical force. There are 26 different Runes in the world, each affecting spells - referred to often as Phrases - in different ways. While some are born with true Runes already imbued into their body, others are forced to use these stone symbols to craft magic on their own. The Rune System Allows you to actually craft your own phrases, which will be made and stored for use. The effects of these Phrases is directly affected by the Runes you chose for them. There are rules to creating Phrases, explained in the game, but if one follows the rules, every possible combination will result in a 'unique' phrase.
- Time System
RUNE has a time system that is based on movement. While you stand still, time does not progress. While you move, time flows. This is done to help make travel a little less treacherous for the player. Day and Night exist, and nighttime will bring about the miasma, or Night Air, which can be deadly without proper protection.
- Summoning
Introduced late in the demo, RUNE has a summoning system that allows certain characters to summon spirits and creatures to fight by their side. These creatures will intercept all attacks and spells (including helpful ones) aimed at their summoner, and can also attack and cast spells of their own.

- Randomly Activated Skit System (Similar to Tales Of... games)
- Field-based Phrases to help solve puzzles
- Target Enemies or Allies with any spell or attack by pressing Up or Down
- Enemies can "Call for Help"

- A Character that can replicate himself in battle to replace other fallen allies
- Crafting system for weapons and items
- Equipping Runes and Phrases to increase roster of spells
- Interactive Overdrive-like System
- Certain Characters will be able to cast multiple spells in a turn
- Face Graphics for Cut Scenes
