Ok, I'm new to spriting...So please don't be to mean about it. When you tell me whats wrong please be kind. An example is:

Bad Example
"Um.. Your sprite is dumb and butt-ugly, the shoes are shaped like tennis rackets, and the hair looks like she just woke up and hadn't taken a shower for a week! YOU SUCK, LEARN TO SPRITE.


See? That is hurtful.

Good Example
Your sprite's shoes are awkward shaped, and the sprite's hair looks a bit messy and in need of touching up.

It's not bad.
The hair looks a bit strange as does the dress.
Why don't you open the editor and check out how the Standard RTP sprites were done and try and learn from that. That's what I usually do when I have problems with my RTP sprites.

I like the colors you picked out. But not the shading. The folds are only in the middle but should go down to the bottom of the dress.
The hair kinda has a braided look but the bangs look bad. Plus you need shadow on the forehead if you going to cover it with hair.

The dress seems a little stiff, if that makes sense. Is it supposed to be nearly touching the ground, or roughly ankle-height?

You've got a nice starting point there.  I'm an novice at this spriting business, but I'll see if I can't help.  :straightthumb:

I like the colors you've chosen too. As for the form, I think the dress looks a bit awkward... the top is nice but the bottom should be more round, less straight-across, if that makes any sense. Also, I believe the hair needs highlights.

I tried to fix the hair and dress, look better? Also, I was going for a wavy hair kinda look.

Hmmm a question are you trying to make the hair look curly?
then the dress look a little strange when it comes to the folds ^^
