The red ring of death. I've gotten it twice, and now I'm done with 360s now.

I had a 360 for a while and never had any problems, my friends have had one since launch, and while their's does have some wacky discreading moments every now and then (GoW occasionally just crashes upon loading a new multiplayer map for them), it's largely fine. But then again, for all I know my 360 was 2 days away from the red ring of death since it got STOLEN. Fuck.

I hear the blue screen of death and the red ring of death is all a conspiracy so you'll have to buy another xbox or computer and microsoft get even more money.
There is no way that two microsoft products get their own "_of Death" and it be a coincidence.

I've not experianced the ring of death yet, but my buddy Matt is now on his third 360 (He got his first at launch). I don't know anyone else personally who's had it, but then again, I'm not certain I know anyone else who has a 360 at all.

Yeah... 'cause Bill Gates isn't completely loaded or anything. O.o

I know four people who have Xbox 360's, and not a single one of them has told me of this happening to their 360's... odd.

I have never had a single problem with mine.

Okay one time I did get the red ring..which happened to be when I moved..and it wasn't all the way plugged in...so it just meant no power..

oh well. Mines not even vented overly well..and it doesn't even get hot..

MY dude went through 2 360's in ONE WEEK. He now has a Wii.

Has anyone shipped a 360 to Microsoft, or at least know how much it is to ship the fucker?
