Hello !
I'm RPG-man, a French Ruby programmer. I'm a boy, and I'm 15.
I began Ruby modifying RM scripts, and since I've been able to write entire scripts, I began programming without any RM script, starting with nothing. So, two small projects were born : Galactic Battle, a shoot'em'up, made with RGSS (about 70 scripts) and Ladobe Photishpe, a small image editor (about 50 scripts).

And I began to learn Gosu and RUDL, and I made mini-games with Gosu, but, I didn't have that I needed in these libraries.

So, I went on programming RGSS, and, I've been programming Platform Game Editor for 2 months. It isn't finished yet, I'm actually working on it. It's a big project, there are two things inside :
- The GUI, which is King Kadelfek's (a great French programmer) project. I joined the development team of the GUI in April 2009, beginning modifying design, then programming new components. (There are 51 scripts of this GUI in the PGE project, that isn't the totality of the GUI project). The team is composed of : King Kadelfek (lead programmer), Krän, Zeus81 and I.
- The Game and the Editor. There are about 100 scripts inside, I'm the only programmer of this project, and it's more than 200 hours spent working on it.

Yes, the language is French...

It's under license Creative Commons.

Now, I'm learning Java and C++, but my favorite language is Ruby !!!

That's done for my history about RGSS and Ruby.





How did I find the forum ? ARGSS. I find an URL from another forum to ARGSS project, and it interested me a lot, because I love programming with RGSS for a lot of reasons. However I could make a project with another library if I need this library and not RGSS.

My hobbies and interests? Programming Ruby...

What kind of music do I listen to? : Christian Rock... Hillsong United, Delirious?, Spoken, Relient K... They make great songs ! (Yes, I'm Christian -I don't now how to say that in English, but in French it's : "Chrétien protestant évangélique"-).

What level of education am I in? What am I studying in college? I'm 15, so I was in 'collège' this year, and I will go to the 'lycée' in September -I don't know the English educative system-. I'm hard-worker, because it's very important to learn !

I would present (I don't now if it's the good word, so, should I say, 'introduce' ?) my project (PGE) to see if some people would be interested by creating a platform game, I'll bring them my project (and my help on Ruby if they need) .
