RPG maker xp + vista

Problem
You have downloaded the RPG maker xp program and it works fine on vista until you try to test play your game.
It freezes and a message pops up saying that RGSS has stopped working.

Solution
You have to download RGSS102e.dll or RGSS100J.dll and put it in the RPG maker xp folder. Then you
will be able to test play your games.

Well actually...I've downloaded RMXP and it won't even start on Vista. I double click the application and it says that RMXP has stopped working. Any solutions?

On Vista you should run RMXP as a Administrator
right click on the icon n then run as admin..
It worked for me

Hmm...ok. I might have tried that, but I don't remember. Thanks though, I'll check it out.
