RPG Maker Advance Boss Battle

I thought it was rather neat so I recorded it. I might do other tracks but the trouble is that I have dial-up... so mp3s take a while to upload.

BTW Don't bother with the graphics, besides the battle backgrounds they all suck horribly.

Ahhh chiptunes are fantastic! I got an EPROM for a gameboy color but so far as yet I have failed at successfully creating some decent chip tunes.

I just ripped this using VisualBoyAdvance's recording feature. ^^;

EPROM (Erasable Programmable ROM)

Basically, you record your data on the EPROM, then put it into a videogame cartrige (for the system that youre making the music on). Then, put the cartrige in the NES and you have an instrument.

Though, emulators can do the same thing, so if you have one and a decent chiptune making program, you could make it all on your PC.


I never heard of RPG Maker Advance, is that for Gameboy? If so, neat, I wish I could find that.

its for gba and it wasnt released in english unfortunately. The graphics used remind me somewhat of golden sun

Hmm... yeah they do look similar to GS now that you mention it. But they are still awfull. x_x

I would love to have some of the battle characters ripped. I've been working on a few, but it isn't going too well.

These are fantastic! Well, except the Battle one. Were there more battle musics? i.e. Battle 2 or 3, maybe a Final Boss?

there is battle, boss 1 and 2, and final boss.
Well you can use any theme in an event started battle, but that battle theme is for random ones.

I'll try and get around to some more tomorrow. Plus monsters sprite sheet.
