rmxp.org game tolerance vs. Rpg maker vx Community

So i've noticed that RPG maker VX Community lets quite a few more things slide than this site. For example, the Completed games section, on the VX site, there are many more terrible and horrid games that receive approval and even praise. I'm not bashing VX community, I'm a member there, but It seems that Rmxp.org is more thorough with game critiques and acceptance on what is or isn't a good game. I was just thinking about how much I appreciated that fact.

Let's face it, if you suck, you either need help or to quit. Some people aren't meant to make games, and some just need help to obtain their full potential. What do you guys think about this stuff? Do you agree that quite a few people making games on these sites should not be, or do you think everyone can make them?

Personally, if everyone could make a good game, I'd quit, what's the point? It's not an art if there's no proper artistic visionary behind the project. But that's just me. Also, I'm not saying I'm a god of game making or anything, But i'm definitely a lot better than I was a couple months ago, thanks to people on here, and artistic drive.

Honestly, if I was looking for a game review I'd post here. I've noticed the same things you've mentioned and you bring out a good point. I guess XP has more experienced users verses VX's majority of inexperienced users. Plus the game dynamics are completely different and so the way people judge games in the VX community happen to differ dramatically.
