RPG Maker XP version 1.04 is out
I have just installed the trial and new rtp on my pc. No file was changed in the RTP, including the Data/ folder. All files are the same, they even are dated from 2007. Even the help file hasn't been updated.
The only new thing in the RTP is that there are new RGSS104E.dll and RGSS104J.dll, but guess what, they are the same. No encryption changed, nothing new in F1 menu, so rmxp 1.04 games are still vulnerable to all decrypters and script injectors out there. Maybe there is some kind of change, but I don't know.
But, what have changed? Only the RMXP activator. It now uses other keys, and ask for email, name and last name, presumably checking on the database all that data before activation. (so your old rmxp/vx keygens won't work)
If you have RMXP already installed, don't bother upgrading. Specially as I don't even know if you are able to ask for a new key from enterbrain for the new version, or you have to buy it again.
